Sommarösund sauna
Better known than the village saunas, and still usually free to book. It sits on the beach at the end of the longer Sommarö trail.

Every Wednesday the Södra Vallgrund community heats the sauna and anyone can join. There is also a room with a fireplace and a table, so you can sit with friends during and after. In winter they keep an avanto. There are volleyball courts and an outdoor grill. Bring a little extra firewood if you want to grill, and extra water: there is no tap.
