On Djupskäret there is a public sauna anyone can use, a covered outdoor grill, an outhouse, and a pier. People have left saws for cutting sauna wood. Others bring wood and leave some for the next guests. On a nice summer weekend it can be busy, and it draws a drinking crowd. On a weekday, very few people are there.
It is an easy trip with a boat or a kayak. By kayak, the mapped route starts at Norra Vallgrund beach. By boat, the main channel runs in front of the island and the pier is visible from it.
